The fervent activity in these towns generates a series of festivals, exhibitions, parties and events in general, which attract tourists throughout the year and travellers from both Italy and abroad, and makes Garda Lake an endless resource for lovers of art and culture.

Ideal departure point for the discovery of not only the Garda region, but also of the nearby cities of Verona, Brescia and Mantova, just to name a few, all rich in history and prehistoric art which today are an invaluable inheritance meriting attention. Garda Lake, with its typical products such as wine and olive oil, has consolidated an important gastronomic tradition that is appreciated worldwide. The region offers the possibility to visit vineyards and farms and to follow the famous Strada dei Vini (Wine Route) and Sapori del Garda (Flavours of Garda Route) to the discovery of famous tastes and perfumes enchanting even the most refined palettes. The numerous pathways and cow paths which run through the entire area are ideal for practicing sports such as trekking, nordic walking, mountain biking, motocross and alpinism; the area also has numerous stables which makes Garda Lake an excellent destination for lovers of horse-riding. There are many sport centres and clubs in the Benaco area which take advantage of the mild climate making it possible to enjoy activities throughout the year such as football, tennis, golf (Golf Club Ca' degli Ulivi at Marciaga is not far from the residence). The depths of Garda Lake hide authentic treasures such as old galleys from the era of Venetian rule and also transport and war boats, which can be explored underwater by lovers of scuba diving.

At sundown, start by enjoying a delicious aperitif in the bars along the lake boulevards, follow this by sampling the local specialities for dinner in one of the many restaurants or taverns which have made the area famous for its gastronomic tradition. Then move on to one of the numerous pubs and winebars which stay open until about 2 in the morning, and finally, end your night in a discoteque (the Garda region has some of the best discos in Italy) open until 4-5 in the morning and with ample outdoor space during the summer season
